Sairam Potaraju is responsible for Digital technical Services a Business model Innovation venture of Covestro, a leading supplier of high-tech polymer materials (formerly known as Bayer MaterialScience).

Operations, Product strategy and Innovation enthusiast Sairam and his venture aims to create a new technical service based business model for Covestro customers globally by seamlessly integrating Polyurethane know-how with digitalization and Industry 4.0 technologies. This is an exciting endeavor for a globally established supplier and a technology leader in the area of polyurethane raw materials.

Previously he held positions in Technology consulting, Operations, Product management functions and in General management roles for Bayer MaterialScience/Covestro. Sairam holds a MS in Systems Engineering and a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St.Louis, USA. Born in India and educated in USA, he has extensive international work experience in US, Germany and India.
