Guglielmo Iozzia is currently working at MSD, where he is a member of the Merck Manufacturing Division - IT. He is based in Ireland but involved in projects overseas as well. At MSD he is busy leading, executing and delivering ML/AI projects (with focus mostly in Computer Vision, but not restricted to this field anyway) and make sure they generate the expected business value. His journey into Data and ML/AI started more than 8 years ago at IBM and continued at Optum (UnitedHealth Group) before joining MSD in early 2019. He is also an international speaker since 2018: he gave talks about Deep Learning and Computer Vision to more than 50 events, including Spark+AI Summit, the Open Data Science Conference, Big Things Conference, DataWorks Summit and the National Manufacturing and Supply Chain Conference for Ireland and UK.”
