Jens Fuerst studied physics at the University of Bayreuth, Germany follow by a PHD in semiconductor physics at low temperatures. In 2004 he started at Siemens Corporate Technology in Erlangen in the field of organic photo detectors. Since 2008 he took over different functions in innovation, research & development, product development and manufacturing of medical equipment at Siemens Healthineers. Since 2019 he is responsible for Automation and Digitalization of the Technology Center Power & Vacuum.
