Ir Ts Dr Harris A R Sabri graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in 2003 and Doctor of Philosophy in 2018. Currently assigned as Principal Engineer (Rotating Equipment) attached with Integration, Value Assurance (IVA), PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd with 20 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry ranging from downstream, upstream, joint venture, governance and oversea assignment. His vast work experience covers various aspects on turbomachinery, operational excellence, digitalization, remote monitoring, engineering design, testing, commissioning and maintenance of rotating equipment. He was the recipient of PETRONAS Technical Professional Solutionist Award 2022.
He also contributes to the local technical society via his involvement with The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) as the Chairman of Project Management Technical Division (PMTD), Committee Members for Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as well as Committee for Technology & Technical Working Group Oil and Gas for Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT).
