Sylvain de Laharpe joined the Michelin Group in 1993 and is an Industrial Engineer by training. He worked for a long time in the field of Process Engineering, taking on managerial responsibilities in Process R&D and operational responsibilities in the construction and ramp-up of plants in France, the United States and South America.
His experience was completed by contributing to a major Business Innovation program as Industry and SC Manager, then by the responsibility of a Group Industrial Methods department.
Since 2016, he has been leading the definition of the Michelin Digital Manufacturing Roadmap, and is in charge of leading the transformation of Michelin's industry towards Industry 4.0.
